Author of numerous (approx. 250) expert reports and opinions for, among others, the public and private sectors, including the Chancellery of the Sejm, the Chancellery of the Senate, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Justice.

From July 2003 to August 2005, he was adviser to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. From October 2007 to March 2013 he was a member of the Council of the Supreme Audit Office. Then, from April 2013 to November 2015 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked as Undersecretary of State responsible for legal affairs. 

Since October 2001 he has been a researcher at the Warsaw School of Economics, since January 2016 with the title of professor.

Author of more than 300 scientific publications in the fields of finance, European law, business law, financial and tax law, intellectual property protection, economic policy, as well as administration and strategic management. Interational guest lecturer, among others at universities in Tokio, Amsterdam,  Toronto, Leiden, Ottawa.
