Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Gemini Poland and Advisor to Warburg Pincus London. He also sits on several boards of European technology companies.

He served as President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao until November 2019. Prior to that, he held a number of senior management positions at leading financial institutions. He was also CEO of PZU Group, the largest financial group in the region.

Previously, in 2011, he became Head of Global Banking and Markets for Central and Eastern Europe at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He was responsible for M&A projects, finance and capital advisory.

He has extensive experience in the public sector. From 2008 to 2011, he was Deputy Executive Director on the Board of Directors of the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., and from 2005 to 2007, he served as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Treasury.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, he was also educated in economics in Belgium. He completed the MBA programme at Columbia University Graduate School of Business and also studied at Harvard University.
