The International Organisation of Employers (IOE), established in 1920, is the largest representative organisation of the private sector in the world and it is the only recognised body representing the interests of employers in international social and labour policy matters.

Currently, the IOE has 150 members from more than 140 countries, including (since 1991), as the only Polish organisation, the Employers of Poland. The IOE's main mission is to promote and defend the interests of employers in international organisations such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the B20, the business body of the G20, an organisation of the 20 largest economies in the world. The IOE addresses employment and social issues, and advocates solutions that favour the development of entrepreneurship and thus the creation of new jobs.
Issues covered by the IOE include: CSR, human rights, environment and climate change, sustainable development, informal economy, international labour standards, migration, skills and education, social dialogue.
