China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit

The President of Employers of Poland, Rafał Dutkiewicz, and Maciej Legutko, Director of the Department of International Cooperation, participated in three significant conference and trade events in China: the China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Nanning, and the SME Expo in Yulin. The visit to China provided an opportunity for a series of meetings and discussions with the authorities of Guangxi Province, the cities of Nanning and Yulin, representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), as well as organizations responsible for international economic cooperation from Malaysia, Thailand, and South Korea.

The visit highlighted how, in many aspects, China has caught up with and surpassed Western European countries and the USA. Today, succeeding in this market requires high quality, innovation, and a thorough understanding of the market.

Representatives of Employers of Poland delivered several presentations on foreign investment in Poland and the organization activities.

Polish businesses received cooperation proposals from major Chinese companies in Guangxi Province and announcements of further trade missions to be organized by CCPIT, the most important agency responsible for the development of foreign trade in China.
